Oh my my my.. This hot and steamy regency romance stole my heart! I absolutely loved it! The main characters were so much fun! I loved their banter and the little insights to their personalities that I found surprising.
All Dev wants is to be loved but thinks himself not a worthy cause and all Felicity needs is to be seen for who she is. She is a strong female character in a world where to be a progressive women you were laughed at. She can pick locks and finds comfort in the darkness. Dev has lived to long in the shadows and Felicity is his light.
I am telling you, Sarah MacLean out did her self with this one. They compliment each other so well. The fight for their love though out this whole book left me wanting more. I could not put it down. I love it when I just want them to be together so badly. I was rooting for them to figure it out and was so happy when they did. Like, sitting in my bed, all alone, grinning from ear to ear because they were just made for each other. It doesn’t matter how many romances I read, or how many times I go into these books knowing that these two characters are going to fall in love, I still love reading their stories. I’m a sucker that is for sure and you can bet your bottom dollar I will be waiting for the next in this series to come out.
Thanks for reading lovelies!
