If you didn’t just get chills reading this synopsis then.. we can’t be friends. Oh my goodness!! A dark angel that is devilishly handsome that comes back and avenges all those who wronged her? Um.. yes please!? I’m a total sucker for the bad boy with a tortured soul that needs love and acceptance.
This romance has all the stuff. I mean, everything I’m looking for in regency romance, it has. Lets run a check list…
Deep and interesting characters…. check!
Sucked me in at the very beginning…. check!
Man needed saving… then he saves the Lady…. check!
Mystery and Adventure… and overall keeping me surprised and wondering what the heck is going to happen?….. check!
Hot and steamy parts….. check! (am I right?)
Mostly by the end I was very surprised by a few things. It didn’t go where I was expecting it go. . .and I was so ready for these two, to let them heal each other and be together. I read quite a few romances and I think it would be hard to come up with something new. For the most part they are pretty predictable but I love them no less because that is what I want! I want a good love story. I want them to end up together. The author has done a great job in this book with creating something a little bit different. I didn’t realize that this was book 6! I will be looking up her other books as well and can’t wait to see what she has in store for me!
