Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

Review:

I just adore CoHo’s novels. They are the type of books that after I have finished I just sit there and think for awhile. Some how she always starts it a little vague with one persons perspective and then adds all the good stuff, and then finishes it with the other persons perspective. It makes the story come around full circle. I love her style. She is so real. The contemporary romance is there but so is all the bad, ugly stuff that happens in relationships that other authors skip over. It’s not always easy and usually I break down and cry a few times, you would think this this bad but it makes me love her work so much more.

If you have never read one of her novels I can recommend, Confess/It Ends with Us and now November 9. She has lots more but I just recently became a fan.

This novel had a very interesting synopsis, I was instantly intrigued. We have Fallon and Ben, both have scars only one is on the inside and one has them on the outside. It’s a story of healing and forgiveness as well as growing up and finding out who you are as an individual. I love concept of knowing yourself and loving yourself before you love someone else. I really enjoyed reading about these two and their story. I honestly couldn’t put it down. I read it in about 6 hours… straight. Ha ha. Thanks for reading friends!
