WHAT I LOVED: I love historical, regency romance. I can read through these books in one sitting. This one was no different. The characters were amazing. I loved Gray and Fiona. She proposes to him and he is jaded and thinks she is crazy! He tries to scare her off a few times but she is one stubborn and determined woman. I thought the story was seriously cute and would read more of the series as they come out.
WHAT I HATED: The world building and writing style seemed a bit rushed. The plot was good but then a little anti-climatic. I felt that the ending should have had a bit more with the “bad guy” but… really what I want is a happy ending, and it has that. A few of the times that they found time alone together I found a little bit odd, but then it got all hot and steamy, so I couldn’t be THAT mad about it. (wink wink)
Overall I thought it was a cute story. Not my favorite romance ever, and not one I would read again but if you love romances like I do and read right through them, then this one was a good one! It comes out the end of the month! Thanks for reading!
